How to Obtain ACC Approval for Your Project
If you are considering any modifications to the exterior of your property, please review your Deed Restrictions first. If you proceed without approval, and your project does not comply with the Deed Restrictions, you are at risk of legal action to correct the violation.
1. Review your deed restrictions. Please email the ACC Chair, Jacque Forrest at ACC.bvshoa@gmail.com if you have questions.
2. Email the following information about your project to ACC.bvshoa@gmail.com. We encourage you to submit preliminary plans early in the design process to get feedback and ensure your project will comply before you invest in completing the detailed design.
3. The ACC will review your plans to assess their compliance with your deed restrictions.
4. The ACC will advise you of any questions or issues with the design and suggest revisions needed to bring the plans into compliance so you can resubmit your project. The ACC may request a meeting with you to discuss your project. The ACC Chair may contact you about arranging a site visit and take photos of the project site.
5. When your plans are in compliance and are approved, the ACC will recommend final approval by the HOA Board either by email or at the next HOA Board meeting.
6. The ACC will send you an approval letter. Keep the approval letter in case a question ever arises regarding compliance.
