How to Obtain ACC Approval for Your Project
If you are considering any modifications to the exterior of your property, please review your Deed Restrictions first. If you proceed without approval, and your project does not comply with the Deed Restrictions, you are at risk of legal action to correct the violation.
1. Review your deed restrictions.
2. Email a description of your project to the ACC Chair, Jacque Forrest at ACC.BVSHOA@Gmail.com.
3. The ACC will contact you regarding what you need, such as
a. Survey/plat map showing the location of the project (please use a red or blue pen.)
b. Pictures, architectural drawings, and/or a detailed description of the project.
4. When you have completed your plans for the exterior of your project, email the above items to the ACC.
5. The ACC will review your plans to assess their compliance with your deed restrictions.
6. The ACC will advise you of any issues they find with the design and suggest revisions needed to bring the plans into compliance so you can resubmit your project. The ACC may request a meeting with you to discuss your project. Arrangements may be made by the ACC Chair to take photos of the project site.
7. If your plans are approved, the ACC will recommend final approval by the HOA Board either by email or at the next HOA Board meeting (third Wednesday of each month.)
8. The ACC will send you an approval letter. Keep this letter in case a question ever arises regarding compliance.
