How to Sign Up for the BVSneighbors Yahoo Group

Go to www.yahoo.com/groups.

1.      In the box labeled “Find a group” type “bvsneighbors.” Press Enter.

2.      Double-click on “bvsneighbors.”

3.      Click on “Join this group.”

4.      Step 1-Your Contact Information – Fill in your information.  You MUST put something in the comment box.  Otherwise, you’ll get the same screen back.

5.      Step 2 – Message Delivery – Daily digest is the best choice.  You will get one daily e-mail containing all postings for that day instead of a bunch of separate postings.

6.      Step 3 – Message Preference – Fully featured is recommended.

7.      Enter the funny-looking letters and numbers in the box.  If you can’t read them, give it one try.  The program will come back with another set which may be easier to read.

8.      Click “Join.”  You will receive the message “Membership pending.”

Your request to join will go to Helen LaFlare.  She has a membership list and will approve all member requests.  At that point you will begin to receive messages from the group.

You will only be able to access your Yahoo Group account from the same e-mail address you used to sign up.
