Although the most visible footprints of the Balcones Country Club are its two golf courses, they are by no means all that it offers to members. There are also tennis, social, and a new special BV/SHOA non-voting social membership for our HOA members. This membership requires a $150 initiation fee and monthly dues of $35 with a $90 quarterly food minimum. (Translation: one meal a month for you and the kids.) The Club provides a summer full of poolside activities for the family, the famous BCC Sharks swim team, Balcones Women’s Association functions, children’s activities, bridge-canasta groups, Texas Hold ‘Em parties, summer golf and tennis programs for member children and grandchildren, and numerous other special activities for couples and families. There is literally some special gathering every week. This is your chance to get involved with Club activities, meet the kind of friendly laid-back people normally associated with small town life, and help to maintain what we see as we drive through the neighborhood.
